Middle School: Web Development Course

Special Highlight: This month our middle school students will also be learning about web development.

Each student will publish a blog article about a topic they find interesting. The students will be responsible for researching the topic, discovering their target audience, developing the content, incorporating a supporting online product to sell, and publishing their blog on the web!

Pictured here are some of the students presenting their mindmaps about the five possible blog topics they have brainstormed. Like a focus group, their classmates are helping to select the most interesting of the five topics.

Jeremy Hodge, from HDWebDev.com and our website designer of MayRiverMontessori.com, is leading the class this month. It is his goal to inspire our students to view the internet as a place for purposeful creativity, sharing valuable information, and online entrepreneurship.
