Passion Projects and Middle School Graduation – 2022
Middle School Graduation Ceremony and Passion Projects Presentations!
Yesterday was a busy day for our upper classes!
Our upper elementary and adolescent students presented their passion projects to start off the evening of events.
Each year students are asked to prepare a passion project where they select a topic to research and present. This year, our students’ passion projects ranged from computer security, ending animal cruelty, vocational education, eating disorders, and more. Students shared these presentations ten to twenty times with parents and friends in an open exhibit.
To end the night, our 6th grade and 8th grade students celebrated the first May River Montessori middle school graduation! There was some singing, speeches, and awards given at this ceremony.
Our 6th graders are bridging into the Adolescent Program, where they will start their next chapter in their education journey.
Our 8th graders are graduating from adolescence into High School, where they will further their education as they prepare for adult life.
We are very proud of our students and their accomplishments! Congratulations to all of our graduates and award winners!
