More Outdoor Time!
It’s Friday!
This week we’ve seen a lot of new exciting developments!
First we want to wish Ms. Gail a happy birthday today!
You may have noticed a new routine in the morning for our upper school students on the playground! If you attended the Parent Enrichment Night, you heard of the importance of outside free play and childhood development.
We have responded to the scientific studies by starting the day outside on the playground and lengthened recess to 45 minutes each day! There are many other improvements being planned to roll out in the near future. You may have even noticed the children want to get to school earlier now, this is just one of the many benefits of the new changes!
ALSO–Meredith Inglesby and Steve Blanchard presented a special Theater Master Class today for our upper school students. They are both parents and actors who performed on Beauty and the Beast on broadway! We are so privileged they shared their experience, talent, and guidance to our own MRM stars.
